We are based in Stockport, Manchester but we travel across the North West of England offering our K9 fertility services to you in your own home. This can be useful if your dog gets travel sick for instance or maybe you don’t drive, whatever the reason we can facilitate you when you need us. We can also do out of hours calls (at an extra fee) so if you have an emergency with your whelping or need an emergency scan then we can do that too. Just get in touch with us if you need us.
Another service can offer is an introductory training session with your dog on the day they arrive home from the vets (if a C-section was performed). This service is aimed at first time breeders but can be useful as a refresher if it’s been a while since you last bred a dog. This service can be vital because its the first 24-48 hours that are absolutely crucial to mum and pups so you need to be prepared just in case you need to intervene with feeding etc.
These fertility services consists of use and knowledge of the vital supplements needed for day one. Latching the puppies on to mum for their very first feed, stimulating the pups to toilet (for bulldogs etc or lazy mums), tube feeding in case you need to intervene with feeding, things to look out for during your whelp such as Mastitis in mum, puppy temperatures, puppy fade etc, and home incubation if needed. If you are breeding a Bulldog or French Bulldog we highly recommend health testing with the Bulldog Breed Council health testing scheme before you breed your dog. By doing this you can ensure you are breeding out any flaws in the breed but equally important, you are making sure your puppies have the best start in life.
